WORK EXPERIENCE

Strategic Software Solutions Co., Ltd. – Researcher, 2007-2009
Engineering Tool to Optimize the Modularity in Products – Main Investigator
Developing a software to decompose a product into modules and making it more design-efficient by using heuristic algorithm to cluster a system architecture into modules.
Result: Software Application. This software was used as one of the examples in the textbook, Design Structure Matrix Methods and Application, The MIT Press, 2012

Realtime Eye Gaze tracking using basic Webcam – Main Investigator
Design and Development of a real time eye gaze tracking system using off-the-shelf web camera and digital image processing to process of measuring the point of gaze from the subject and then analyses of how subject interact with a product. This work focuses on computer vision techniques for: Face tracking, Eye region tracking, and exact eye features by using (i) the iris center, (ii) the inner eye, and (iii) the head pose.
Result: Software Application Prototype
